Jeopardy

Jeopardy (and other game-like tools)

Classroom interaction, especially during revision, is typified by teachers asking questions and students responding to questions. Using this tool, students are charged with the task of reading/discovering material, filtering that which is important, and then constructing questions and answers in ascending order of difficulty. Blooms taxonomy would most likely place the student activity here in the uppers areas of the hierarchical model. Later on in class, it is the student who leads the 'game'leader' role and animating peers. The teacher role becomes one of facilitating.
