eQuiz questions

The instructions below are from a 2009 university undergraduate course in language history. Students were provided with this information about 5 weeks prior to the the planned eQuiz at the end of the course. The book had 12 chapters. This particular course (by coincidence) had 12 students, so all in all, the students made 144 questions.

Quiz questions for Language History - graded task
For the language history module, there will be an eQuiz in a few weeks. The final task for you is the actual production of the questions. This task is a part of the examination for this module.  Your task is to produce a total of 12 questions for your allocated chapter:
  • 5 multiple choice questions,
  • 5 single word answers
  • 2 sentence/paragraph questions
For the eQuiz, I will use a large selection of your questions but will also include some of my own. When you have created your quiz questions, cut n paste them in the eQuiz forum where everybody else can view them too. This way, you can learn and revise from each other - and help each other to prepare too. My expectation is that your questions will show your insights and understanding of your allocated chapters. The quality and construction of your questions will be a part of the grade for this module. As a model, here are some examples of questions for the construction of the language history quiz
